Everest is an excellent drama that manages to create an epic tale that showcases nature's true might and man's attempt to overcome it. The movie revolves around the tallest mountain on Earth and a bunch of brave souls who attempt to reach its peak. Hikers are inspired to climb Mount Everest after the very first human being reaches the top of Mount Everest. Within two weeks, a swarm of people head over to the gigantic mountain in an attempt to be the next heroes to accomplish the incredible task. The team is made up of somewhat strangers, and as they embark on the tough journey, they learn about the people around them and themselves. The group must work together as they go ahead and try to climb one of the most difficult peaks in the entire world. One mistake could be fatal, and the group knows this, which adds to the movie's intensity. However, just as the team begins their final ascent, a powerful storm comes into contact with them and puts all of their lives in jeopardy, and they must work together in order to survive mother Earth's most fearsome powers, resulting in the team learning firsthand the dangers of nature and why so many people have died trying to climb Mount Everest. 
 Everest is a fairly entertaining movie that should grab viewers' attentions and entertain them greatly. However, the ending of the movie that should be enticing and adventurous, it doesn't have any true "wow" moments and could use some more extraordinary event, since it isn't nearly as dramatic or suspenseful as it could potentially be. But the entire film is solid throughout and is packed with adventure and intensity, with the main exception being a few parts that occur at the end. 
 Everest beautifully depicts the conflict between man and nature and showcases the shear force that is nature. There are scores of thrilling tension, tragedy, and bravery, as well as some enjoyable, thrilling twists and turns that are sure to keep audiences' adrenalines pumping. Although parts of the movie feel slightly dragged out, most of the movie is an interesting tale that depicts one of the more depressing moments in climbing history. 
 Everest has vivid, pleasing visual effects, and the whole thing feels very life-like and realistic, which is a superb thing, seeing as it makes watchers feel like they are climbing the mountain as well. The character development in the movie is pretty good, but it is nothing that spectacular. However, the movie does show some of the harshest conditions that could possibly occur during a hike, which is a necessity that the movie triumphantly accomplishes in succeeding with having. Overall, Everest is an unique. well-done film that showcases a conflict between man versus nature and is definitely worth seeing, because there aren't that many movies like it.
