Twelve Mighty Orphans is a story about a football team out of Fort Worth, Texas, they stayed at the Masonic Home during the great depression. I fell in  love with this book right when I started reading it. The book plays with your emotions like a kid that plays with his favorite toy. Hardy Brown: one of the greatest Texas High School football players ever. Played at the Masonic Home and grew up in the orphanage from the time he was three years old until he left which he was nineteen by then. The book explains why Hardy is in the orphanage.

This is by far the best book I’ve ever read, and I recommend it to everyone who loves sports or enjoys seeing someone small make it big.

Twelve Mighty Orphans shows no matter how tired you are, how beat up you are if you can take the hits you can make it.
