Book Review
Stolen by Lucy Christopher moved back to Wales to study at an MA in Creative Writing at Bathe spa University. She thought she wouldn’t be a published writer if it wasn’t for MA. The MA was when her life started forming. Her first published book was Stolen, between talking and teaching writing she did other things. She represented in Greene and Heaton Literary Agency, and published by Chicken House in the UK. She also published by Scholastic in the United States and Australia.
Lucy Christopher has never been kidnapped, but she felt kidnapped when she was nine because she moved from Wales to Australia. She felt different in a new environment. She was fascinated by the lands in Australia and loved exploring it. She used her feelings in order to write the characters.
Gemma was sixteen, she was at an Airport waiting with her parents for their next flight. Taking a few minutes to go the café alone, that’s when he saw her with a look in those eyes. “Those blue, blue eyes, icy
blue, looking back at me as if I could
warm them up. They’re
pretty powerful, you know, those eyes, pretty beautiful, too.”  She looked at you as if you wanted something with her. It as if you wanted it forever, you drew me towards you… and in a flash he stolen her away. Ty offer to buy her a cup of coffee but what she doesn’t know is that he spiked her drink, that’s when her kidnapper takes her into the middle of nowhere.
Recommend this book because there’s something different about it, it keeps you at the edge wanting to know more and what will happen to Gemma. This is my recombination that everyone should read it, the plot in this book is incredible. This book was written in second person, Gemma is writing it to Ty. I give this book five stars, it well detailed and truly amazing.
