Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis
Bud, Not Buddy is realistic fiction. This book was written by Christopher Paul Curtis. It has approximately 243 pages. The book tells the exciting life of Bud Caldwell. Bud was 10 years old when this thrilling expedition had started. Bud sets out on this expedition to find his father. He meets a lot of people on his expedition, but he will also never see any again.
I would say that the main characters in the book are Herman E. Calloway, Bud Caldwell, the band, and the Amos’s. The book takes place in the 1930’s, and is in Flint Michigan. In my opinion, this was an astounding book. I think that it is astounding because of the twists in the book. It is funny, some what sad, and suspenseful. I couldn’t put the book down! I think the book deserves 5 stars.
