Matched by Ally Condie
In this young adult/love book, a girl named Cassia lives in a Society where the Officials pick where you live, who you love, when you die, and everything in between. She has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her. So when she sees her best friend’s, Xander's, face on the screen at her Match Banquet she knows he was the right choice...until she sees Ky Markham’s face on her microcard the next morning. The Officials have said it was a mistake, but Cassia wants to know if it really was? Now she has to make the impossible decision between Ky and Xander.
Condie creates an image that sticks with you the whole way through. Each chapter has its own story while still making sense with the whole book. Like the Hunger Games, you will not be able to put this book down. This book, and the other in its series, is a must read.
