Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry Ridly Pearson
Here it comes…
Peter twisted his body and shot to his right, and as he did he switched his knife to his left hand and slashed with it, and it happened to fast for him to see…
Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridly Pearson is a great combination of adventure and friendship about a boy named Peter and his fellow orphans, James, Prentiss, Tomas, and Tubby Ted board a ship called the Never Land. On board Peter meets a girl named Molly Aster who is both way too pretty and rich to be on the ratty ship with the ratty crew. Peter and her become friends after she saves his life. Peter learns a huge secret that Molly has and that both saves their lives and gets them into a lot of trouble. When the ship crashes on Mollusk Island the sword slashing action begins. Will pirates get Peter and Molly? Will you like this story? Will you get the next book? I did and I liked them all. This book makes you feel a sense of adventure.
