Deadline by Chris Crutcher
The question is "What if you only had one year to live..and you knew it?" Crutcher displays a deep and meaningful story about a teenage boy faced with a dilemma...death. Ben doesn't look at his dilemma and cringe, instead he takes it and makes something out of it. While keeping it a secret from everyone, he goes into his last year of high shcool a different person, taking chances and risk he will never get to experience again. In the end, Ben Wolf wil have made his mark.
