Hawksong: The Kieshaa’ra Volume I MAG
Hawksong is the first in the Kiesha’ra series. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes not only has been telling stories since she was three, but was published at 14. In this new series, written when she was only 20, she has created her own language that is amazing and original.
The main character, Danica Shadae, is an Avian Shapeshifter. Her people have been at war with the Serpiente for so long that the origins of the disagreement have been lost. Danica has been taught to hide her emotions, hate the Serpiente, and fear the garnet gaze of a royal family (that Avian legends say are descendants of demons).
Will she be able to put this past behind her by following through on a far-fetched solution, or will the hate for those who have killed her family and friends be too strong?
Amelia Atwater-Rhodes has again shown her talent for writing about Shapeshifters and creating new and unique worlds. In this novel you just scratch the surface of Shapeshifters. You will be so near the edge of your seat that you will not be able to stop reading. Every page has a new twist and adventure.
