True To The Game is an amazing book. It gives all romance, street life, and how these issues change them. The more I read it the more I became intrigued by it. What is interesting about the book is how a guy who was tryna get out of the game and gain the love and trust of
the main character to marry.
The book is about a girl named Gena, who came from the projects of west philly. She wanted to change her life and live for the better. She finds a guy who changes her life and she doesn't want to be involved in his problems that can cause her harm. But all of it changes when tragedies comes
The deuteragonist is the most interesting character. He is the main character's love interest. He wants to live a life out of crime but is stuck to it due to these conflicts. He is kind and quiet. He wants to live a life with Gena and wants to get out of the streets
I would recommend this book to the people who like reading these types of books about crime violence and money. For example in the book the Love interest is a drug dealer who
wants to leave the life of the game for his woman. The plot is nice but basic like every other plot. The issues and conflicts are the best parts. Every character has a well written plot and has a meaning to the story. So overall it would be great for those who like reading street life conflicts and romance.
