The Ugly Sweater by Alicia Garcia
In the writing titled The Ugly Sweater written by Alicia Garcia I felt jealous about. Her writing about a family who kept a sweater for 24 years left me feeling like they have a big happy family. In this writing this family keeps a sweater in the family for 24 years. I think that is kind of cute. I do think this article is written well. I don’t really relate because my family doesn’t have very many traditions. I like how she says “I love that ugly sweater because it represents a family tradition, and family is important to me.” It seems like this family has a special bond. I also like when she says “And to me the sweater is more special than any piece of jewelry.” I wasn’t left confused by anything because she wrote the story very well. I’m very happy for this family and they make me want to do stuff like that with my family.
