Grand Theft Auto
Grand Theft Auto V Game Review
Considered to be one of the best and my personal favorite game on the gaming consoles is Grand Theft Auto V. Let’s review that. This game was a highly anticipated game when it was released. Rockstar Games has released another great game in the Grand Theft Auto series. The story line of the game has three main protagonists that you can play as. It takes place in a city almost like Los Angeles, but with blue skies, no traffic, and people that just drop coffee at random on the sidewalks as you go by. This is the wonderful city of Los Santos.
The first protagonist is Franklin, an African American, who is an up and coming hustler just scraping by working for a man from the Middle East. Franklin wants to leave his dead-end neighborhood in the slums of Los Santos by looking for better jobs. Lamar is Franklin's best friend who is always in trouble with the law and needs your help to get drugs or beat up a gang he owes money to. Next on my list is Michael, a retired criminal now ten years later who is drinking away all the alcohol in his house and is secluded from his family. He is trying to remember his glory days by watching old action movies in his luxurious estate. Then his past life starts to catch up to him. The FIB is looking for an expendable asset and who better than someone that no one but two people knows about in the FIB. They hide Michael in Los Santos with all the money that he will ever need with his two children and wife. The FIB is similar to the FBI in the real world that we have today. Trevor is an old friend of Michael, who doesn't know Micheal is in the same county as him. Trevor is mostly at his home drinking and fighting in the trailer-park area. He is a meth dealer in the Desert of Paleto County and is an unpredictable character that many people prefer to play as.
This is an open-world game that does stray from the norm, because the game may have its share of blue-collar missions like towing random cars for Franklin's crack head friend. Most of the missions feel like they have a purpose.
The story mode is easily overlooked by people today because the online play is what everyone is playing, but the story is super interesting especially near the end missions of the game. The three partners in crime do with the “Big One” a really awesome mission and the fate of your game’s future is in the crisis of a billionaire and the FIB agents.
Now, to shift views, the Grand Theft Auto Online is one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. The server can handle 1 to 16 players, the character creation is good. You build your fourth protagonist, a male or female, but before you write your future you must sculpt your past in the character creation. What you do is choose the four grandparents and then out pops the online ragdoll you control. The skills you have are determined by the lifestyle you choose in the character creation. The customization of the character’s online appearance is very well thought out from haircuts to tattoos. it is extraordinary. The cars have had a makeover from Grand Theft Auto IV. The interchangeable parts for the car are extensive and can really boost the speed of the car. Speed is key for playing with people that want you dead. For this review I obtained other ideas on the game from other who have played it.
, who is 15 years old, said that his favorite character was Trevor because of the craziness that he brings to the element of the games dynamic story. Ryan doesn't own an apartment in the games but the most expensive one must be the best he says. He also likes the corvette style car that is in the game for its stylish look and the speed it already has. The worst car is the moped the thing is slow and an easy target for other players in the game. The character from the story he likes is Lester and what kind of heists he can set up for you. His favorite part of the game is the police fights that happen in the game when you break the law.
, age 13, says he likes Trevor also because of his duster truck. really liked the Paleto Bay mission where you steal the police's stash that they get from pay offs given to them. His favorite car is his personal muscle car he created because of the engine and the color of it. The car he doesn't like is the Bugatti because who likes the best. His favorite part of the game is running around and shooting his friends with all of the new guns that you can buy.
who is 15, thinks Lester is the bester of characters Rockstar Games has made. The best car in the game is the mini cooper because of how easy it is to find. The car that he loathes is the Bugatti because it is way too expensive for his character to afford it. The best mission in the game is Paleto Bay with the mini guns and armor that is needed for such a small bank. The part of the game is playing with my friends and just plain old messing around.
who is almost 16, really like Trevor and his invincible power that you unlock later in the game. His favorite car in the game is a business like car that is fast and sleek. I don't know really what the real car is called. also said that the that the worst car in the game is the old rust bucket of the car that is in the desert because it is so slow and breaks down if you crash it. Micheal is his favorite game character because of the heists that he does. The most awesome house in the game is Franklin's new home that he gets from Lester according to Brandon. His favorite thing to do in this game is drive around and blow people up with the tank that he own.
Grand Theft Auto V appears to be a game that people like it. The game has also had a few features in the gaming magazine world. If I would rate this game it would get 9.5 out of 10 for the overall quality of the game play. The game is super amazing and I hope they continue to do great things with the franchise they have built over the years.
