becoming her
She brought a pulse of rage to boil inside
Left acid in my throat when fields fell cold
Her heart is no warmer than her icy eyes
Are you divided still or shall you fold?
No more a snake, shedding its saintly skin
Two faced vortex dancing with a heartbeat
Feigned beauty, devoid of and laced with sin
Do you still see the sun where thunder sleeps?
Calm days at sea hide her compelling tides
Elegant structure of beautiful doom
Drags you to jagged rocks, leaves you to die
Where thorns weave her path do you see sweet blooms?
See peace when her sunsets rain blood and ash?
Now glimpse in your mirror, her futures past
