America
Of the many places my heart may lie,
My country may be the most prominent.
Red white and blue will always unify
The hardship that patriots underwent.
In Britain they stood without any rights;
They broke away and achieved their freedom.
Our flag remained there all throughout the night.
This flag will still fly whatever may come.
A symbol of courage within my mind
Everlasting freedom to exercise
Unfortunately, many were left behind
So, in their memory the flag will rise
I am proud to live upon what they gave,
The land of the free and the home of the brave!
