You can feel you heart beat
You take the floor for the first time
You will not accept defeat
You have to believe everything will be fine
You look at the crowd around you
Pulse racing inside
You know this is what you do
The doubt within you has died
You have been waiting for this chance
The hours and time
Now all you have to do is dance
You can make this final climb
The stick goes in and out of your fingers
The passion inside of you lingers
