When love burns out I’m left with an open
wound. Your dangerous eyes entrap my soul.
Please don’t leave our love to be unspoken.
My love burns bright for you like the summer
sun, you gift me with your kind and gentle
heart. I knew from the moment I laid eyes
on you, I could never love another.
You make my heart flutter like butterflies
floating in the honey soaked spring mornings.
I’ve given you my all, and all I ask
in return is support under gray skies.
So please don’t leave me in the dark, my love,
love me with more passion than a bright flame.
