History and Now
Peace and justice is inevitable
Eliminate pain and the constant cry
Letting issues go is unthinkable
Until the real question is answered, why?
‘Power to the People’ is what I would say
To the ‘Boys in Blue’ for bloody affairs
To people of color for unfair ways
Only to keep faith and ceaseless prayers
Endurance surpassing the struggle
Skin color, no longer to be abused
Seeking truth, the first piece of the puzzle
Only to hope the N-word won’t be used
Peace, is the insight to always do right
When justice, is the neverending fight
