I Watched
Who thought the death of fall could turn to this,
So elegantly the leaves fell down,
I watched the end of Summer´s bliss,
I watched the end of Summer´s nightly sound,
The leaves fell down without hesitation,
I wonder how it feels to just let go,
Their reasons to fall they had no mention,
Then I watched the death of fall turn to snow,
The silence of a freezing winter night,
I watched the snow fall like tears of the sky,
With the early dark I see Christmas lights,
Comfort from knowing that the sky does cry,
The trees all frosted with the white of snow,
All these Christmas lights I will watch them glow,
