To a Tree
There you stand a tall and mighty oak tree
Your leaves leap in the sky kept evergreen
A blissful peace that will loom over me
You stand in the sky beautifully lean
I was left in shock many words unsaid
The blanket of foliage on the floor
I know in the future you will be dead
But you have been written in myth and lore
Never forgotten you shall’th remain
I will remember you on my last day
Your brethren on the floor lie a stain
But you oh my mighty oak shall’th stay
I know in the near future you’ll stay great
A marvelous creature I can not hate
