A Man Sat Alone in a Bar
A man sat alone in a bar
Drinking his whisky on ice
When up walked a girl from afar
Who smelled of cinnamon and spice
Quietly he stared into his cup
Knowing her love would be a win
He puffed his chest, wished for luck
Then turned and gave her a grin
Ever so sweetly she smiled and blushed
Then without thinking he took her hand
And gave her a kiss that was oh so rushed
When he was hit so hard he couldn’t stand
Had he looked behind her lovely eyes and blouse
He would have seen her big and tall spouse.
