Peace is a Sandcastle

A symbol of teamwork and effort
Yet it is to much of a hassle,
as we know it will not last
Over time it will fall and crumble,
only to be built again the next day
This fortress is very ineffective
Our sandcastle doesnt hold our enemies out
All it does is look pretty
and spread hope all about
Peace is the lie of the ages
that the sandy inhabitants believe
They say it will protect them
but in their time of need it will leave
