The Big Game
I'm ready as I step up to the plate
I can feel the sweat running down my chin
I get ready not going to hesitate
I feel like I'm going to win the game
As my bat makes contact with the ball
I get ready to run to first base
I swing the bat with my all
I run to the base with extreme haste
Throughout the game you will get tired
And the thought of losing will make you want to cry
The excitement from the croud will get you wired
And if you win you will get some victory pie
I think baseball is an amazing sport
And beats playing on any court

The love for baseball, an amazing sport inspired me to write this sonnet.
