The Arctic Tundra MAG
The earth covered with glistening white snow,
The trees so naked stand tall in the land,
The arctic water flowing very slow,
The lifeless plants make the earth look bland.
Short days taken over by early nights,
God’s blow forces frigid people inside,
A dark blanket falls to cover the light,
Geese flying from the cold trying to hide.
Families huddled around the warm fire,
Spending quality time with each other,
while the wind howls like a church choir,
scared to face the cold and leave each other.
Although we wish for winter to end,
It’s a great time to be with family and friends.
