He Who Dwells Within You
Who am I? You've asked before
and yet you've seen me still.
You see me here and see me there
yet all you see is thrill.
I am he, he who fights
when all that's seen is loss
I'm the one who stands for truth
against the man or boss.
When you cry, I am the one
who feels your pain and tears
And when your scared, I am he
who conquers all your fears.
Your drive and reason, I am he
who pushes beyond all limits.
I'm the kid, who stands and fights
when bullies tell them give it.
I'm the fire that dwells inside
and slowly will consume you.
I am hate and I am love
people who live within you.
Although I'm known, you see me not
you always try to leave me.
You loose your mind to try and flee
discovering only insanity.
I am confusion, I am uncertainty
in all its purest forms
As death is amused, I am the cause
that makes all humans mourn.
My power is true, having no end
it stretches beyond the stars.
My impact is devastating, with the smallest strike
I leave horrific scars.
Undying and pure, lasting forever
my affect can stir the oceans
I am the flaw and also solution
I am your constant emotions.
