The sun is extinguished
The moon no longer shines
And everything we’ve ever felt
Has all been left behind
Why?
I was the moon and you..
You were only a spaceman
A traveler, a gypsy soul
I was not your alien sand
The moon is crumbling
Meteors clatter to the Earth
They burn and destroy
They care not who they hurt
We are caught in clamorous discord
Our thoughts have come undone
The moon no longer shines
For she has lost her sun.
