Sonnet for a Sister

Dearest sister whom I cherish and love,
What could ever hope to bring us apart?
Sometimes I feel you were sent from above,
With your gentle smile and your kind heart.

We think, we talk, we walk in the same way.
We could be twins, but your a bit older.
We are filled with laughter by the end of the day
Your puns get you a push on your shoulder.

But then you broke our bond to go to school,
And left behind a girl sad and alone,
Trying to think of a sentence more cruel,
Than to converse with you just by cell-phone.

But please believe what I say is so true,
Because deep down, I will always love you.
