Oh My Man I Love Him So
Your hand meets my cheek, but it does not caress,
The blue under my skin becomes clear.
You play the role of the wolf while I the innocent deer.
The sense of control is what you obsess;
My hair is falling out tress by tress.
You take a swig of whiskey, crack open a beer,
The rage in your eyes is what I fear,
Displaying me as a doll that you posses.
But I love you more than you could ever imagine,
Giving me life as fate did spell.
My love for you will beat your flaws,
You are my knight in shining armor, will always save me from the dragon.
The family that we shall become will be quite swell;
I long for the nights wrapped in your paws.
