Untouched Universal
The grass grows while sand sinks and water flows,
Marvel at light's flickering existence
Hidden in the shadows of a tree's boughs
There is no reward for its persistence.
Curious, ponder the world's reversal -
It seems to be all that's worth your time now,
These are corners untouched universal;
Lost thoughts society didn't allow.
What reasons are there for utter exile,
Left to crumble in festering darkness?
Perhaps they are merely meant to beguile
Those who wander wild in search of solace.
So corners offer gilded temptation,
Corruption their only consolation.
