Seasons
Daughters are like seasons;
They grow up and bloom like beautiful flowers:
You love them for many reasons;
Fights with them last like passing showers.
Her cheeks are red liek a newly bloomed rose,
The sun will her skin and her hair but she will remain the same
Red, yellow, and orange she paints on her toes
Her thick curly hair she can never tame.
Her smile is as white as the winter's snow
When she cries it's like drops of spring rain.
Her screams are as loud as the winter einds blow:
She is as sweet as a candy cane.
She is confusing like a maze,
But I love her like summer days.
