tear stained rose petals
gently crushed
on the horizon
falling to the tongue
of heated humanity
carefully they are rung
to abhorrent juices
a moment of innocence
of a pale pink perfection
like this
is soon lost after it hits
mans lips
sliding from mans grasp
from his grip
through his closed hand
from his firm fist
someway,some how he
has managed this
to lose his impending
innocence
by just the edge of his
deft fingertips
