A Hideaway
A quiet place that is a hideaway,
A sanctuary, it remains aloof,
Where people old and young and new can stay.
This place is great, for this you need no proof.
A lukewarm breeze, it makes its way towards you,
Some clouds like wisps that run across the sky,
The sun it hovers in an endless blue,
How is it that depression here is shy?
A peaceful smile that grows upon one’s face,
Here nature shows itself until we sleep,
With flower petals thin and white like lace,
It comforts us when we do almost weep.
The sadness of our lives surely dispels,
This place is one of love cannot you tell?
