You're My Storm
Did you think of me when thunder screamed?
And shaking skies of thoughts you once desired
Built storms fought on that take you by your means
And grieved a crackling sound like fire.
A twisting bolt that highlights endless sorrows
In flashing lights horizons have been seen
My horizons buy, they do not borrow
A priceless purchase, one that’s hard to return or redeem.
A voice is something you will not forget,
Goes by ears and whispers what is real
In line with thunder shaking up your fret
We dislike these things we hear and those we feel.
Since thunder stopped, I see you walk away
A familiar sound but one forgotten to this day.
