Summer times is the best part of the year
School is let out for the summer
Everyone runs and screams with cheer
No more need for any bummers
You go outside and play all day
Have a campfire at night
“This is fun” is what you’ll say
Big smiles showing delight
The month of August lingers around
Thats when you’ll begin to fear
Your smile will turn into a frown
When the school year is almost near
Your sitting in school on a boring fall day
Waiting until school ends again in May.
