If I wrote a song about how I feel,
Would you really take the time to read it?
All the emotions I’ve tried to conceal,
All the opinions I’ve tried to omit
Would you sit down and read about my life?
And listen to all my anger and strife?
If I wrote a song about how I feel,
No, you wouldn’t take the time to read it.
You wouldn’t try to help me heal
I’m sure you wouldn’t even look at it
But how are you to analyze,
A truth that you can’t realize?
I’ve written a song about how I feel,
But I already know you won’t read it.
