Hungry
All the world is mine for the taking
All of peace is ours for the making of a better race, placing ahead of the stereotypes
A blast of the stereo might give sight to a tunnel of a new opinion
And a sight through that new tunnel may cause blurred visions of a not so 20/20 picture perfect world
But maybe a 10/20 where you could give your whole 30 to a girl
And with that 30 she could start to pay attention and hear the things that you never listened to
because there were three beautiful girls sitting near your desk talking and all of their smiles glistened giving of a reflection of the intelligent intellect they spoke as you wrote and took note of a true brilliance before you
And as you observed their knowledge someone else adored you
That someone else would bore you with questions about your eyes and the visions held inside behind your pupils
This someone was a pupil, an offspring of the knowledge that could earn today a future
You were a pupil blind to teachers
Blind to hidden knowledge, blind to the opportunities you now have that kept your parents out of college
But when you made it you pledged in a fraternity to be your brother's keeper
but you were still blind that every student is a teacher and every experience a lesson so every study session you have be so hungry for more knowledge that you'll go back for seconds.
