Ever Changing Seasons
Ultra-violet colors dancing on trees,
Waving back and forth until they will fall,
In a cloak of colors bright with beauty,
Trees naked and bare, but still standing tall.
The earth is cold and changing with much grace.
Skies hang low and shield the sun of its warmth.
We will wake up soon and see its new face,
A white blanket of snow, brought from the north.
Spending my time settling in my chair,
With my book and coffee to warm my day,
Gazing out my window at the brisk air,
I realize the winter season won’t stay.
Our ever changing seasons we love so,
Spring rain, summer heat, fall colors, winter snow.
