Alarms and pagers in the night
Scarlet flashing lights are bright
Uniforms, helmets, the fire bite
The first responders roll!
The smokes dark colomn in the sky
The flames devour, children cry
Our trucks arrive, helping try
The first responders roll!
Air tanks full, water jets,
Axes swung, safety debts,
Like ancient knights with safetynets.
The first responders roll!
Afterwards the nights calm
Silence, the responders balm.
