Time to Rain
This shall be a hard task to do today
With people pounding hard against my walls
The pouring rain soaks thy tir’d shawl
I look you in the eye and say good day
I’m sorry it has ended this sad way
My darling please, please don’t cry now my soul
I’ll love you to the last drop fall from God
And the rain, his tears, will never cease, I say
Our love eternally shall always stay.
Love is not mortally bound by slow Time
The ticks of clocks do not bind my sad heart
I am out of the ticks that keep lovers
A part from their other half of their life
My love extends across the sea to start
A love that will last a very long lifetime
