My Despair
In winter’s grip I lie, gently sleeping,
time seems to stand still, she is really gone,
at times you can find me , gently weeping,
looking back, for what I have done so wrong.
Without her, I do not know what to do,
I lack direction, my hope wears a cloak,
without her my world is the darkest blue,
She broke my heart, the last time we spoke.
It feels like forever, despair will last,
my one wish, to have her back in my arms,
for my time spent with her went much too fast,
but through everything I wish her no harm,
As I go on, my heart and mind will mend,
I’ve been told, what’s good must come to an end,
