Tears From the Sky
I need something to cover up my shame.
I need something to purify my soul.
Something that falls down my window frame
Is a liquid disguise-my miracle.
Rain, rain, rain that is falling from the skies
Please let your raindrops come and fall on me.
Wash away all my fears; drown out all my cries.
Rain, rain, rain please downpour and set me free.
You're the tear drops of the heavens crying.
I see your tears fall down the wet window.
Rain, I hear the sound of your loud crying
As I lay my head on my soft pillow.
The tear drops that fall from the skies above,
Are the tear drops that I have come to love.
