Favorite Quote:
"there's nothing wrong with you. There's a lot wrong the world you live in."

I feel the butterflies raging in me-
The fans are finally calling my name.
The crowd's watching as far as I can see,
I've done this before, but I feel the same.
I take a breath, the nerves go away.
In my arena, ready for the game.
We huddle up, in position to play.
Maybe this time, success will bring me fame.
I'm working my magic, this is my stage
With all of the spotlights shining on me.
I feel like I've been let free of my cage.
I hear the crown laugh, their sounds filled with glee.
No other escape could compare to this-
Nothing else could fill me with so much bliss.

In my town, you're either a jock or a nobody. I wanted to show that the "outcasts", such as the actors and performers, and these athletes experience the same thoughts before they showcase their skills.
