Response to Sonnet 130
You have treated me rather unkindly
You always showcased my unnatural flaws
You have dominated me unfairly
Your painful words were as sharp as the cat's claws
You chased away whats left of my self-esteem
With the brutal honesty you presented
My pride for myself will never be redeemed
Because of my appearance you resented
You've made of me a self-concious woman
Worrying about people's thoughts everyday
My trust for you eventually deadened
And for those reasons I can honestly say
There has never been someone i most feared
Than my forever beloved Shakespeare
