My Parents
Silly little creatures they are,
Always asking if I’m alright,
Sometimes they need to go far,
Far away and out of sight,
Bothering me all the time,
And they just don’t realize,
Just how much I’m,
Annoyed and my friends sympathize,
Yes I still love them,
And they the same,
Though they never taught me to swim,
But they are not to blame,
Parents are curious creatures,
Still, they are the most important teachers.
