Let Me Know, or Let Me Go
I’ve watched the sun rise, and watched the sun set,
I’ve known all your lies and also one truth,
For I’ve felt them all, but never regret,
It’s not rocket science, nor takes a sleuth.
Configuring your attitude toward me,
After all that you’ve done and what’s happened,
It makes me cry and I’m growing angry,
To know your issue and why you’re saddened.
Please don’t continue to play this with me,
It’s making all my love for you whither,
Answer me, I want to help don’t you see?
Let me fix this and stop acting bitter.
If you truly do love me, let me know,
And if you don’t please gently let me go.
