Oh my gracious tenderness, my deep love
Your presence is like the moon gleaming through night
As if you lie with the angels above
Providing the chilled air with a dim light
No- you’re bigger, and brighter than the moon
You are far more beauteous and more warm
Similar to the summer days in June
Breaking fiercely through after a night’s storm
Your truth speaks of whispers in the meadow,
Yet the lurid sun sees itself to all,
Leaving the rest with only small shadows,
Through the full and colorful trees of fall
My love for you will never expire,
For your company is all I desire.
