Misery Loves Company
I feed off of others misfortune.
Not unlike a leech.
The happy ones I do shun,
With their happy speech.
Miserable woman I am!
A lady loving the night.
Knowing the day is but a sham,
A philosophy set a right.
I turn my face from the scorching sun,
Craving the moons lucid beams.
I wait for earth from the sun to run.
And back on the moon to lean.
Night and day is what separates me.
Oh, how lonely to be an anomaly.
