My Best Friend
You are always there for me
You have always been
Caring and understanding
Sometimes harsh when needed
You tell it like it is
Don’t tell me what you think I want to hear
Whenever I feel like giving up I can always find you near
Nothing short of a nuclear explosion will ever tear us apart
If either of us ever needs it we can always have a heart-to-heart
You are my best friend
There for me through thick and thin
We can always count on each other for good advice
And we are definitely better than therapists
Practically like sisters, maybe somehow better
Even if the distance gets farther, we ourselves grow closer
