Closed Desires
The sand slowly falling from the hour glass,
Every minute, appears more unbearable,
Gradually more-so, as the hours pass,
The hour glass, feeling more smashable.
The sun sets upon the desolate scene,
Marks a significant milestone,
In the struggle that remains between,
Reluctant thought, and ambitious bone.
Finding sleep in procrastination,
With the nightmares flowing in your head,
Linger to mock your hesitation.
Striking the possibilities dead.
The time to wait is over,
The time to achieve is here,
Transform the haunting never,
By breaking free of your fear.
