I want to make it,i want to be great
and my name and legacy to go down in history,

I want to be successful put me in that bussiness suit
and that tie give me the money and i will lie

People tell me i will be great
but i think they are a year to late
i think i am normal thats why now they hear me talk informal

I walk with a million others
talk like a million others
never leave my own like a billion mothers

I try but not my best because if i try my best then i wont rest
i won't sleep i will be tired i will be weak

I just pass the bar barely feeling like i flunked it badly
cause i know i could do better but i rather not
i just pass by an inch every time and to my mother it is a crime

I tell her next time i will do my best or the teahers hates me
or this is not back in her high school days this is different
this is a new time it isn't the same the teachers are the ones to blame

But they are not it is me. mom dad can't you see?
