Once I did see, a cute woman or three.
and how I danced, became a masquerade
hoping that one might take liking to me.
Two of the Three saw right through the facade.

One took a look, and decided in heart,
investing in love, however hopeless ;
would be worth their time, and began to start
In my direction, seemingly careless.

And yet, I regret, she was not sincere,
She was merely taking her short journey-
simply for to cackle in to my ear,
Telling to me, I’d forever be lonely…

Please, no tears for this hopeless romantic;
Tomorrow I will try the same antics .
