Here comes the rain, oh the wonderful rain
It’s joy from the heavens, a special gift
We dance with happiness over this gain
After a hard day it gives us a lift
It makes all fear melt away from our souls
It gives us a cleansing, it rids our sins
It makes us want to achieve our innermost goals
It brings us all together—friends and kin
It makes us so independent and free
We want to spread our wings and fly
All we want is to pack our bags and flee
With our dreams and passion we touch the sky
